Isaac is born craft for young children to enjoy making. The tent opens up to reveal Abraham and Sarah with baby Isaac!
We’ve made an Abraham tent craft before – for the story of how Abraham left his home and went to the land that God promised to give him (Genesis 12). Click here to have a look.
The above craft is about the birth of Isaac from Genesis 21. It’s the same idea as the Abraham craft but with more people! I really like ‘lift the flap’ crafts! I need to think of some more 🙂 We printed lots of labels with ‘God keeps his promises’ and these were added to the craft.
The children enjoyed decorating the tent – you can use felt tips, crayons, stickers – whatever you like! We had some flower stickers around the tent too. Let the children be creative.
[…] birth of Isaac – the craft is almost the same but with more people! Take a look at this post Isaac is Born to see the craft […]
Where do I find the people to print out for this craft?
Hi Lishelle, I’ll have a look and get back to you. I drew them so they should be saved on my laptop!
The downloadable printouts have been added to the post. They are a little altered as I couldn’t find the originals. But should work fine 🙂
